Alexis only accepts a limited number of custom commissions each year, as each piece requires exceptional time, care, and craftsmanship. We look forward to creating with you!
The client gathers inspiration images or ideas to help
communicate their initial vision to collaborate with Alexis on.
Alexis will present a comprehensive mood board that expands, refines, and elevates the initial inspiration. From there, you will explore these ideas and narrow down the
design direction together.
The Alexis Levan atelier team will create the prototype using a substitute fabric that drapes similarly to the final fabric. This fitting gives you the opportunity to try on the design for the first time and allows the team to make any necessary design or fit adjustments.
Alexis will present approximately 5-10 sketch options, complete with inspiration images, colors, trims, and fabric choices, all stemming from the creative consultation. This will be a collaborative working session where you refine the ideas and chose a design together. At this stage, your full body measurements will be taken to ensure a custom fit.
The Alexis Levan atelier team will bring the final design to life using the selected fabric, color, and trims. This fitting is all about perfecting the fit. From here, one round of alterations is included, and then you'll take home an original
Alexis Levan design.
